CambonOS is an Arch Linux-based GNU/Linux distribution. The project brings together its own system configuration, visual identity, and tools to provide a coherent desktop experience.
Arch base, CambonOS identity
The project maintains its own packages for system branding, keyring, release metadata, repository integration, and system information. The XFCE and Qtile desktop configurations for CambonOS are developed by Cambon18. The distribution follows a rolling-release model and publishes packages through stable and testing channels.
A project in progress
The distribution and its tools are developed in separate repositories. The shell-based installer remains in use in the ISO while package organization continues and a future installer rewrite is being planned.
